  First timers. We were over-welcomed. That may not seem like a real thing but it is.. be careful not to swoop down on people "you've never seen before". Let God do the heavy lifting on new people. He can handle it. If they walked in, the Holy Spirit is working. Greeters can diminish that.
  Sat in the back, just the two of us in a small aisle. Usher came with an offering plate and even though it was obvious we had nothing readily in our hands to put in plate, he basically pushed the plate on us to make us touch it and pass. Not a good look. Personal preference when visiting/1st timers is to be offered to let the plate pass.
